Becoming a Level 3 Wim Hof Method instructor

This blog post tells the story of how I learnt that I had been promoted to the highest level of expertise for a Wim Hof Method instructor - Level 3.

My alarm clock went off at 4am. For a few seconds, I didn't know where I was. I was still half dreaming. Then, I gathered myself and quietly went downstairs. 

It was dark and cold outside. Rain lashed the car windows as I drove down the coast to Greystones in Wicklow. 

But, I love making the trip out to The Happy Pear (also known as Stephen and David). We go for a swim in the sea, watch the sunrise and then do some breathing together. It's a great way to start the day. 

But, that's not what I want to tell you. Something happened after that...

I settled back into the car and quickly checked my emails before heading home. And this is what I found in my inbox...

After years of learning as much as I can about it. After years of practising it every day. After years of trying to help other people feel the transformation I have experienced, it finally happened.  I was awarded the highest level of expertise for a Wim Hof Method instructor. It is simply called level 3. 

There aren't that many level 3 instructors in the world. So, it is something I am very proud of.
